As a four year old Felicia sang on the radio in Barbados, it was written in the stars that one day, in Germany, she would sing on stage with artists like Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey. In Barbados she sang with her mother at home. She sang melodies with reggae and Calypso rhythms, Country & Western songs and Gospel, of course, in church a few times a week.

A new world of music met Felicia when she went to London with her parents, at the age of eight. She learnt many new things. Still a teenager, Felicia formed her own band, with which she went to Germany, singing soul, pop, jazz, blues and all the music she loved from Barbados. Joining the Munich studio scene was yet another turning point for Felicia. Her voice became part of the sound of productions of Keith Forsey and Frank Farian. Later still in Frankfurt she sang on many advertisements including Coco-Cola and Schöller . Felicia has sang with many International artists, either in the studios, TV productions, or live on stage. These include Milli Vanilli, Boney M, Silver Convention, Robert Palmer, Coolio, Paul Anka, Jennifer Rush, Donner Summer, Luther Vandross, Moby and Demis Roussous. She has also sang with many German artists, including Peter Hoffmann, Peter Maffay, Heino, Michelle, Matthias Reim, Ingrid Peters, Sarah Connor and Detlev Joecker. In 1992, Felicia started her own Gospel choir which also became a National success working with artists like Sir Elton John, Foreigner, Yvonne Catterfeld, Marshall & Alexander on various TV shows.

In 1995 Sony Music and the German TV station ZDF asked Felicia to accompany Michael Jackson on his first ever German TV show “Wetten Dass?”. Felicia Taylor won the Gospel Award 2004 and has worked together with World Vision, the Hannelore-Kohl-Stiftung and the Deutsche Welthungerhilfe TV show. At the 100 year birthday celebration (ZDF TV) for Dietrich Bonhoffer, Felicia sang her song “Celebration”, Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury listened and told Felicia “Everybody should hear this song”.

Als die vierjährige Felicia in Barbados Werbespots fürs Radio singt, steht es noch in den Sternen, dass sie eines Tages in Deutschland mit Michael Jackson und Mariah Carey auf einer Bühne singen wird. Damals musiziert sie in erster Linie zu Hause mit ihre Mutter, oder in der Kirche. Sonntags vormittags Gospel, nachmittags Country und Western. Samstags ist Familientag mit Calypso und Reggae. Eigentlich ist das Haus immer voller Musik.

Ganz andere musikalische Welten tun sich auf, als Felicia als Achtjährige mit ihrer Familie nach London übersiedelt. Sie lernt eine Menge Leute kennen. Bald hat Felicia eine eigene Band. Sie spielen Pop, Calypso, Reggae, Soul, alles was musikalisch reizvoll ist. Von London kommen sie nach Hamburg. Felicia singt mit vollem Herz, arbeitet mit Musikern unterschiedlicher Stilrichtungen im Studio und begeistert sich für Jazz, der ihrem ohnehin vielseitigen Gesangsstil neuartige Nuancen hinzufügt. Und da man mit solchen Talenten nicht auf der Stelle tritt, ist die nächste Station die damals angesagte Münchener Studioszene. Dort produzieren die Stars und bald gehört Felicias Stimme zu Silver Convention, Boney M. und anderen Keith Forsey und Frank Farien Produktionen. Und von nun an reiht sich Name an Name: Milli Vanilli, Stephan Remmler, Robert Palmer, Peter Hofmann, Peter Maffay, Matthias Reim, Coolio, Moby (Top of the Pops), Michelle, TV-Sendungen, Live Auftritte oder Studioarbeit, Werbespots für Coca-Cola, Schöller u.a..

Eines Tages in 1992, hat Felicia die Idee, mit den vielen Sängern, die sie kennengelernt hat, einen Profil-Chor auf die Beine zu stellen für die Konzerte internationaler Stars in Deutschland. Mit durchschlagendem Erfolg. Für Luther Vandross, Paul Anka, Mariah Carey, Sir Elton John, Foreigner, Heino, Sarah Connor, Yvonne Catterfeld, Masterboy, Marshall & Alexander, Detlef Joecker, Demis Roussous u.a. singen Felicia und ihre Gospel Voices. Als 1995 Sony Music und ZDF die Sendung “Wetten Dass?…” mit Michael Jackson planen, erhält Felicia Taylor den Auftrag bei seinem Auftritt mit ihrem Chor zu singen. Felicia Taylor hat der Gospel Award 2004 gewonnen, und hat mit Stiftungen gearbeitet wie World Vision, Hannelore-Kohl-Stiftung, Missio und der Deutsche Welthungerhilfe TV Sendung. Als sie ihre leid „Celebration“ gesungen hat bei der ZDF Sendung „Zum 100 Geburtstag von Dietrich Bonhoffer, Rowan Williams, (Archbishop of Canterbury) sagte zu Felicia „Everybody should hear this song“.
